Greek Alumna Spot Light!
Alpha Chi Omega: Marlene Kruelle
Marlene Kruelle, an alumna member of the Alpha Chi Omega, has gone on to prove that Greeks can do amazing things! As an entrepreneur, she started her own
sorority merchandise company for Greeks called Sorority Spirit. Sorority Spirit is licensed under ΑΧΩ, ΑΔΠ, ΔΔΔ, ΔΖ and ΦΜ.
In fact, Kruelle says, “Sorority Spirit was chosen to be the national
store for Alpha Delta Pi in Atlanta, Georgia.”
She sells her merchandise at trunk shows, leadership conferences, and
sorority national conventions.
Kruelle started off working for many
different ad agencies and by volunteering for Alpha Chi Omega on collegiate,
alumnae, and national levels.
The fondest memories of Kruelle’s
collegiate Greek experience were from recruitment and bid day. Kruelle stated, “I thoroughly enjoyed all of
the time that I spent with my sisters, meeting potential new members and then,
welcoming our sisters, on Bid Day.”
Kruelle strongly encourages collegiate
Greeks to join an alumnae chapter after graduation. "Greek life is a LIFETIME membership,” says
Kruelle, “you are a collegiate member
for four to five years, but you will be an alumna member for fifty plus years!”
